Well, I'm halfway through packing.
I decided to give away my comics. Actually, just lend them off to Jia Lin. She likes/loves to read my Celestial Zone. And it would be sitting in my bookshelves for a year otherwise, so I just decided to lend her for a whole year all my comics.
I just packed them in a box and I feel a sinking feeling in my stomach. I don't want to part with them. But I can't bring them with me.
But at least I'm giving them to good hands. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my precious Celestial Zone comics.
Jo: but must take care ohh!!!!
Jia Lin: ok hahaha...
Jo: if got fire or flood or war....must think of my books 1st!!!
haahhaha
Jia Lin haha yalar yalar....i dont take my money....or even care my siblings but ur books..ok..
And apart from my comics, I can't seem to part with my other books. Day one I already put a list of books I MUST bring to Shanghai with me. Slowly, the list decreased in length, because it's either that, or I can only bring one pair of flip flops.
Sigh, I don't want to leave my books.
I know I'm so nerdy.
So in the end, I am only going to bring some dictionaries, my reference books and ONE novel. A big sacrifice to get my boots and shopping heels in my luggage.
So right now, the things I will miss the most about home, my books!!
