So I'm finally back in Brunei, after the long holiday in Singapore and Japan.
And I'll be flying off again oh so soon. I have less than a month left in Brunei before I fly off to Shanghai!
Yes, plans have changed, I'll be going to Fudan University in Shanghai instead of Peking University in Beijing. Disappointed, but all is well.
So many things to take care of, and so little time. I've already started my packing, and I still haven't unpacked from the holidays yet, haha.
Everything will be rushed here and there, no doubt. I have yet to do my medical, visa, meet up with people, figure out what to bring and what I shouldn't bring. So many things to do.
But all in all, I am excited! I can't wait to get there and start uni life. One thing I am totally not prepared for is the cooking. I can't cook at all. Lucky for me, my housemate knows how to cook, I think, haha. We made a pact already (an unwritten agreement/joke) that he will cook while I can do the ironing.
Anyway, Japan was so much fun, even though it was a rushed trip, but it was still a great experience. I went through my first earthquake, even though it was just a small tremour. There were a lot of sashimi, which I do not like, so I suffered a bit on that part. The tempura was wonderfully awesome to the palate. I love the tempura there. And the cream donuts are to die for.
Pictures will be up as soon as I have time, haha.
PS, Happy Birthday, Amilyn! Hope you're doing great in Singapore!
