Anyway, I'm excited about prom because this is the first real prom for me. I wonder why STPRI never had proms, I mean I know some girls who will just party hard, even without guys.
It's kind of sad though, not a lot of people are psyched about this. I keep asking my friends to go, but they are like giving excuses about how their other friends aren't going, they'll be all alone there, etc, etc, crap.
People like that just makes me want to pull their hair. HELL-LO, it's MAKTAB DULI prom night, and you ARE from MD, aren't you? Unless you stay in a peanut shell in school, I'm SURE you will know people there.
Only in Brunei, where everybody knows everybody and they just hang out in their own cliques. It just makes me wonder how they will survive the world outside Brunei, i.e. University life overseas. Friends For Life. BFFs. Yeah, sure, why don't we just donate money to your friendship group so you can get your hips joined up?
Anyway, I'll be going dateless. Boyfriend is Bath-ing in UK. But who cares, I'm going to have fun anyways.
Oh, did I mention that my dad will be there? He's going to be the photographer for a few hours. Good thing about that is that I can get free studio-style photos, HAHA. For the last formal function I went to, the studio-style photos cost me a week's worth of breakfast.
I already have my prom gear ready. I got my dress weeks ago while I was in Miri. Went to this store that sold nothing but dresses with Miri sister and Singapore sister. Then Miri sister lent me a clutch bag and her Nine West heels. She practically owns me, since she also paid for the dress. Thanks a lot, anyway, I'll babysit Emma-dora soon, when she turns 16 and becomes more manageable.
Can't wait to see everyone dressed up on Saturday night.
