Well slap me twice and call me Nancy!
Not literally. I do not remember where I learnt that expression. But heck, slap me twice and call me Nancy!
So much to do and so little time.
Another expression I learnt somewhere.
Don't you just love cliche expressions?
Many things happening. Firstly, I'm UBER-HAPPY! As many (or little) loyal readers should know, I've been living two months without a maid around the household. FINALLY, dearest Supinah came back last Saturday. No more housechores for me! I threw my ironing socks, cooking apron and dish-washing rubber gloves out the window the second I saw her back at home.
And she's back not a day too soon. Qualifying exams started on Monday, with the horrifying three hours Sociology paper to begin. I should totally be studying right now, I have another three hours History paper on Saturday. But good grades can wait, short-attention-spanned-readers can't.
Oh, and I'm looking for an old-school film projector, either to rent or to borrow for a while. I have these rolls of films that I want to watch, but don't have the equipments around. So if anyone has any of those equipments, or know someone who does, please e-mail me. P.S. The width of the films is about the width of your pinkie. Will blog more about this when I have time. In the meantime, anyone?
Apart from that, anyone know where I can rent/buy old films? Old as in silent movies old. Again, will blog about this in the not so distant future. Many thanks for any information given!
On to more important news.
I realised recently that I have an addiction. Please brace yourself for this unpalatable truth. It may change the way you look at me forever. It may well change the way you look at yourself even.
I shall keep you all in suspense and reveal my addiction in my next entry (god knows when that will be). And let me assure you, it is not pretty.
