I'll have you suicidal, suicidal

Girl on the loose. Prepare for length.

It's been some time since I've blogged on my desktop. I'm getting sick of my laptop already. Mainly because it's more of a 'bedtop'. My room is so small that I have no where to put my laptop except on my bed. My study table is so tiny, it's the size of two primary school desks, and half the space is already stacked with schoolbooks.

It's an unconvenient chain. The bookshelf is full, I put my books on my study table, my study table is full, I put my laptop on my bed, my bed is occupied, I sleep on the floor.

Ohk, so I don't go as far as to sleeping on the floor. But one of these days, I just might.

On a different note, the AS and A Level results from this May/June will be out soon. And by soon, I mean the rumours say that it's next week. I'm dreading it, and yet, I can't wait. More on the dreading side, though.

Obviously, any grade other than the almighty 'A' I shall commit suicide.

For real.

Oh, did anyone read the newspaper today? This Kiwi couple is trying to name their two month old baby 4Real. The government won't allow it because of the number '4' but they are trying to get an appeal for it (is that the correct legal term?). And if they don't get the approval, they will name the baby Superman!

How cool is that?

I would love to meet them sometime. And baby Superman as well, hehe.

On another different note, I've been pissy these past few weeks. The maid is not around and mommy dearest is in Korea. So it's just my dad and I at home. Being the lesser masculine of the two, I have to do a lot of housework.

I have to... (in no particular order of hate)

Anyone still dare to call me a prissy spoilt youngest-child girl, I'll make your death look like a suicide.

And of all the times to domesticate myself, why does it have to be around July and August? It's like the worst time of the year. It's after the term holiday, so there's practically no long holiday during this time. It's after my birthday, so it's like *insert something bad here*. It's when I have to go for driving lessons, so *insert something else bad here*. It's when AS results are coming out, so *I don't need to explain this*. Qualifying exams are coming up, so that pushes the stress meter up. The MinDef conditional scholarship results will come out this month as well, can you imagine how demoralising (their word, not mine) it will be if I don't get it? With all these stressful happenings, I might just commit suicide even before the AS results come out.

Just to make things clear, I will look at my results on my own time!

All these actually happened to me before for important results day, like O Level, PMB, last year's AS and PCE. So I'm pretty experienced on the subject.

I will know my results when I want to. I do not want to know my results as soon as they come out, I like to wait it out a bit. So when the results come out on Wednesday *hint hint*, I shall disappear momentarily, so I don't get people looking for me and deliberately telling me my results by accident when I clearly said that I do not want to know my results yet.

It's like in the unwritten book of rules for results day to not do the things I listed out above within twelve hours of the results coming out. It's only after twelve hours that all rules will be off, then you can start to gloat. I hope people know that... hmph. Otherwise I'll have to make their deaths look like suicide.

All this talk about suicide is because I'm so damn in love with the song 'Beautiful Girls' by Sean Kingston and the reply version by JoJo. Suicidal, suicidal. That's the only part of the song that I actually know, haha. But, yea, I'm so damn in love with that song.

On a brighter note, mom is in Korea, so that means she'll be bringing back shopplings (shopplings is my new word for shopping goodies. I seriously can't think of another more perfect word to describe it). Holland sister went back to Singapore (henceforth she will be known as Singapore sister again) and passed Dutch shopplings to my dad to pass back to us little people in Brunei. So many people going overseas and holiday. And I'm stuck here, staring at cobwebs while listening to Beautiful Girls.

I miss dancing!
I miss my maid!
I miss the holidays!
I miss free time to blog!

Since I'm using my desktop, pictures will be postponed until the next laptop entry.

But here is a description of one of the pictures I am suppose to post up. There's me in bikini at the beach, and there's Justin Timberlake in swimming trunks giving me a hug. In the background are the four other members of N'Sync (god knows what their unfamous names are) looking very jealous of Justin. Yes, that is the picture that I am suppose to post up but will not since I'm using my desktop.

I registered in the Simpur Blogging Nation site. So I'm listed there now. It's not like I desperately want more hits or fame (not that I'm saying that about the other bloggers listed there), it's just that I want to join the competitions they hold. The prizes are good! I do need a new iPod. But they haven't shown the next competition yet (if there still is one) or the prizes, so I'm waiting hopefully, haha.

Yay, three days holiday! I love weekends!

One last MOST IMPORTANT note.

I'm proposing that everyone should change their backgrouds (on your computer monitor or other applicable devices) to black. I saw on E! News about this customised search engine by Google, www.blackle.com, which uses a black background instead of the usual white. Using black backgrounds actually save energy because the monitor is initially black in colour so there's no need to use energy to use up electrons to change the colour (or some other technological explanation which I don't know).

But why just use a black search engine, why not just change everything to black, try your monitor background and your blog background (like mine! hehe). I'm proud that all this time, I actually saved some energy for countless readers.

Apart from saving energy, a black blackground is actually easier on the eyes. Looking at a white background with black font is completely different from looking at a white piece of paper with black font. Imagine staring at a lightbulb with black spots on it.

So switching to black is actually good. Associating black with emo or goth is so last mellenium. We're not here to judge. So go ahead, switch everything to black.

And why stop there? Switch all your clothes to black as well. Black colour radiates heat better than light or bright colours. Being the very heaty Bruneians that we are in our equatorial climate, losing heat is a good thing! To hell with the theory that black absorbs more heat. Hello, who stands or walks outside under the sun in Brunei when we have polluting vehicles and CFC producing air-conditioners?
