Thirteen days left of seventeen!
On 2007-06-06 at 7:47 p.m.

I have two more papers to go, but I bet my dear readers are fed up with looking at my baby picture again and again each time they visit.

Life has been hectic (oh, what an original way to start). And as usual, the week before the term holiday begins is one of the most hectic weeks of the school year. Homeworks are due with no excuses, last minutes preps for whatever, people planning and going off to their overseas destinations (unfortunately, I am not one of them) and trying to get into the happy happy mood.

Most importantly, it's the month of June. And we all know what that means. This half year round, I shall step into the mature and legal world of eighteen candles.

Am I excited? Oh, yes I am. Yes I am.

According to tradition, I would usually dedicate a blog entry to ranting out my wish list. It is fun trying to figure out a 'subtle' way to tell people what I want, almost just as fun as receiving the actual presents themselves. Since I am closing in to adulthood, perhaps I may be a little too mature to make a birthday wish list. Or perhaps I am never too mature to have one. I like the latter idea.

Closing in on eighteen years I should start adopting a more mature state of mind (I should!). I have to start thinking of others who have less than me. So I shouldn't be asking for more things. I have to stop being so materialistic.

But then I like material things, non-material things even. I just like things.

Actually, I want a bouncer for my birthday. I would get one but there's no space around the compound.

Actually, I want a new skin for my iPod. I would get one but I don't know which skin to choose.

Actually, I want a Nintendo DS Lite thinggamajig. I would get one, but I'm not sure whether I want to commit to it yet when there's also a PSP thinggamajig to choose from.

Actually, I want a new watch. I would get one, but it's difficult to find a digital one that fits my wrist.

Actually, I want four more As for my AS. I would get them, but I can't seem to find them on sale.

Actually, I want a new school bag. I would get one but I seem to have a sentimental attachment to my pink bag.

Actually, I want to be offered the J and M scholarships. I would get one or even both, but alas, I don't see them on sale either.

Actually, I want more time to read my books, watch DVDs and blog. I would get to but Cambridge examiners won't make exams easier.

Actually, I want to get my driver's license as soon as possible. I would get it but I would still have to be under observation before I can drive alone.

In reality, I will not ask for anything this year.

Not at all.

Not even a hint.

I plan to bum around and sleep like an ogre on my birthday, hehe. Fun.
